Interlocking paver patios, walkways and driveways built on an open-graded base that survives Clark County winters.

Paver patios, retaining walls, artificial turf, drainage and full yard builds across Ridgefield, Vancouver, Battle Ground and Camas — built on a base that survives our winters, by an owner who is on site every day.
Registered with Washington State Labor & Industries as a general contractor. We carry the bond and liability coverage the state requires, and we will hand you our registration number before you ever sign anything.
Marak is a trade school graduate with 15+ years building outdoor spaces. He is not a salesperson who disappears after the estimate — he is on site running the crew.
Our soil is heavy clay and we get roughly 40 inches of rain a year. Every patio, wall and lawn we install is built on a drainage-first base so it does not heave, sink or pond in February.
You get an itemized scope and a fixed price in writing. No hourly creep, no surprise change orders for work we should have caught during the walkthrough.
Most yards need more than one trade. We handle the grading, the drainage, the hardscape and the planting in the right order, so you are not coordinating four contractors who each blame the last one.

We sit on heavy clay and take roughly forty inches of rain a year, nearly all of it between October and May. Clay does not drain. Water that gets under a patio, behind a wall or into a lawn has nowhere to go, and every winter it does damage that does not show up until spring.
That is why so much of what we get called out to fix is two or three years old. A patio laid on loose sand that has settled into waves. A retaining wall with no drain rock behind it that is now leaning into the yard. A lawn rolled over compacted builder subgrade that thinned out in its second August. None of those failed because of bad materials. They failed because the part nobody sees was skipped.
We build the invisible part properly: excavation to real subgrade, geotextile separation over clay, compacted base in lifts, drain rock and pipe behind every wall, and positive drainage away from your foundation on everything. It is slower and it costs more on day one. It is also the only version that is still flat in ten years.

Marak did a FANTASTIC job from start to finish. If I could I’d give him 10 stars. He designed and built the garden bed. He filled it with good soil; and he transplanted my irises and some other plants. He was great at communicating; he was on time; he cleaned up. His prices were reasonable (in middle of quotes I got). I’d use him again in a New York minute.Kathleen P.Verified Thumbtack review
Marak and his team did a great job for our backyard and side yard. Very good craftsmanship and work quality. We will definitely hire them again for future projects!Jenny B.Verified Thumbtack review
Marak did such a great job for me. He listened to what I wanted and made suggestions for things I didn't think about. He was always there when he said he would be and worked so fast. I highly recommend!!!Pamela P.Verified Thumbtack review
